TROY, Ala. – The Troy volleyball team has been selected as a recipient of the 2019-20 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award, the AVCA announced Monday. The Trojans were also named to the Team Academic Honor Roll which signifies a top-46 combined team GPA among Division I schools.
This marks the second year in a row Troy has received both honors.
"Our players continue to set and pursue tremendous goals and I am extremely happy to see their hard work get recognized," head coach Josh Lauer said. "Their success on the court this past year was absolutely paralleled in the classroom.
