AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Troy men's tennis team ran its win streak to five matches with a 6-1 victory Friday afternoon at Augusta. The Trojans swept the doubles matches and took home victories on five of the six singles courts.
Carles Anton, Vito Llinares and Noah Martens continued their strong start to the spring as they were all victorious in singles. Anton and Llinares moved to 7-1 in dual matches this year, while Martens is 6-1 in his debut spring for the Trojans.
Troy (6-2) swept through the doubles matches winning 6-1 on court one behind Martens and Llinares, while the duo of Anton and Pelayo Antuna clinched the doubles point with a 6-1 win on court three.
