AUBURN, Alabama – After an ultra-competitive doubles point, No. 56 Auburn ran through singles action and the Troy men's tennis team fell to the Tigers, 6-1, indoors at the Yarbrough Tennis Center on Friday.
Troy (1-7) played its seventh match of the season on the road against a ranked team, and was very close to taking a 1-0 lead. Auburn (4-1) won at No. 2 doubles, but the remaining two matches both went to tiebreakers.
