TROY, Alabama – After 12 matches on the road, the Troy men's tennis team finally played at home, winning easily over Chattanooga, 6-1, at the Lunsford Tennis Complex on Friday afternoon.
Troy (4-9) won its third straight match, and did so with a strong showing from the bottom of its singles lineup. The Trojans started the day with a close doubles point as Pablo Moreno and Andre Baldo won in a tiebreaker at No. 1 doubles, 7-6 (1), to grab the opening point.
The Trojans then quickly grabbed four straight-set victories to take the match.
