MONROE, Louisiana – ULM went on an 11-2 run over the final 4:35 to play in the first half and never looked back, en route to an 85-74 win on Thursday night at Fant-Ewing Coliseum.
With 5:05 to play in the first half Troy (6-12, 1-6 Sun Belt) was up 28-27, but the Warhawks (7-11, 3-5 Sun Belt) went on a 24-6 run over the last five minutes of the first half, that carried over in the first three minutes of the second half that gave ULM a 51-34 lead with 16:37 in the second half.
Thanks to Jeremy Hollimon's career-high 26 points, the Trojans got the deficit to as low as nine points with 13:11 to go in the second half but the Warhawks went another run to extend their lead to 18 points with 9:38 to play.
