Troy men down Arkansas State in OT; Trojan women also beat ASU

JONESBORO, ARK. -- Troy senior BJ Miller dropped a career-high 21 points in a 90-85 overtime nail-biting win over Arkansas State in Sun Belt Conference men's basketball action Saturday at First National Bank Arena.

Trailing 78-73 with 1:21 remaining in regulation after a tough layup by Arkansas State (8-9, 2-2 SBC), sophomore Javan Johnson grabbed the offensive rebound after a missed three, dribbled out to the three-point line and made a side-step three pointer from the top of the key to make it 78-75.

On the ensuing possession, Miller hustled back on defense and drew a charge to give Troy the ball with 29 seconds left.
