SAN MARCOS, Texas – Troy looks to cool off a red-hot Texas State squad on the road in an 11:30 a.m. matchup on Thursday.
The Trojans (19-6, 10-4 SBC) are eying their fourth 20-win season under seventh-year head coach Chanda Rigby, but will have to stop the Sun Belt's hottest team to get there. The Bobcats (13-14, 8-7) have won four straight games behind solid defensive performances that have seen Texas State yield just 54.5 points per game over the four-game stretch.
Troy hasn't won in the state of Texas since March 3, 2016, a span of four games with two losses each at Texas State and UT Arlington.
