Jacksonville, Alabama – Troy and Jacksonville State ended in a scoreless draw for the second straight meeting as the teams battled evenly through a double overtime match at the JSU Soccer Complex on Tuesday.
Troy (1-4-1) created a couple of early chances on corners with Lauren Aldrich getting off a pair of headers with the second clanking off the crossbar. The Trojans' best scoring opportunity of the first half came in the 32nd minute when Grace Mirly hauled in a cross from the right wing, but pushed her shot just over the crossbar.
