TROY, Ala. – The best season in Troy volleyball history is not over yet as the Trojans have been invited to compete in the National Invitational Volleyball Championship (NIVC), tournament officials announced Sunday night. The Trojans, who will be playing in a postseason tournament for the first time in program history, open the NIVC Friday at 3 p.m. (CT) against North Carolina A&T in Atlanta with Georgia Tech as the host institution.
Troy (22-9) broke or tied a number of school records throughout the regular season.
