TROY, Ala. – Troy Women's Basketball and head coach Chanda Rigby announced the addition of former Alabama guard Nia Daniel Friday.
For the Crimson Tide, Daniel tallied 51 points and 24 rebounds in her 16 games played. She tallied back-to-back double-digit scoring contests against Western Carolina and Bethune-Cookman. Daniel tallied 12 and 11 points, respectively, and added eight rebounds, a pair of steals and a block over those consecutive contests.
Prior to her time at Alabama, the Charlotte, N.C., native averaged 23.4 points per game, shooting over 45-percent from the field and 82-percent from the free throw line, at Gulf Coast State.
