Troy head football coach Neal Brown announced Monday the addition of 17-year coaching veteran Mark Perry as the Trojans’ new director of football operations.

Perry, Brown’s teammate at Kentucky, joins the Troy staff following a successful head coaching stint at Lexington (Ky.) Catholic High School. In his four seasons there, he was named district coach of the year three times and the Kentucky Football Coaches Association 3A Coach of the Year in 2016.

Before entering the high school ranks, Perry spent a year and a half at Baylor (2003-04) where he served as the assistant director of operations, assistant strength coach and as a defensive graduate assistant.
