Freshman Calum Masters led the Trojans as he officially finished in second place after forcing a playoff for the individual title. Masters shot a 2-over 73 in Tuesday’s final round to catch Georgia State’s J.J. Grey at the top of the leaderboard; however, Grey’s teammate Max Herrmann shot a 4-under 67 to force a three-way tie. Herrmann birdied the first playoff hole to win the title.

Playing in the first grouping, the Trojans set the tone for the day as they were 7-under par after the first three holes. Jared Bettcher was 3-under before pulling out his putter as holed out for eagle from 97 yards on the first hole and chipped in for birdie on the second.
