Troy football uses a fourth-quarter pick-six to top Texas State, 31-28

Troy football to beat Texas State 31-28 on Saturday in San Marco, Texas, forcing four second-half turnovers.

Keyshawn Swanson had a 33-yard interception return with eight minutes for what became the game-winning score. Elijah Culp and Taiyon Palmer also had interceptions.

Kimani Vidal ran for 162 yards and two scores to pace the Troy offense. Gunner Watson went 22 for 29 for 182 yards with a touchdown. Tez Johnson had nine catches for 81 yards and caught a touchdown pass.

Texas State fell to 2-4, 1-1 in Sun Belt Conference play.
