TROY, Ala. – Austin Stidham and Kimani Vidal have been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team, the College Sports Information Directors of America announced Thursday. The pair represents District Four, which includes schools from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and Puerto Rico.
Stidham, a junior from Russellville, Ala., earned CoSIDA Academic All-America honors last year, becoming the first Troy football player to earn the honor in program history. He graduated with a 3.92 GPA in biology / biological sciences this past summer and currently carries a 4.0 GPA as he pursues his master's degree in education.
