TROY, Ala. – Troy wrapped up its 2022 non-conference football schedule Saturday with the addition of Alabama A&M to the home slate; the Bulldogs are scheduled to visit The Vet on Sept. 10 for the home opener.
The matchup will be just the second in the history of the two schools and the first since Troy moved to the FBS ranks. The Trojans defeated the Bulldogs, 28-13, in the 2000 season opener in Normal, Ala., in what was Troy's final season playing at the FCS level.
Troy opens the 2022 season with a trip to Ole Miss and plays at Western Kentucky in October before a visit from Army on Nov.
