Troy, Ala. – Texas State's defense was too much to handle as Troy dropped a 58-44 decision on Thursday night in Sun Belt Conference men's basketball action in Trojan Arena.
The Trojans (11-16, 4-11 Sun Belt) shot just 30 percent (15-of-50) from the field but limited the Bobcats' (23-6, 12-4 Sun Belt) to only six threes on 30 percent (6-of-20) shooting.
Senior led Troy with 13 points and eight boards while senior filled the stat sheet with seven points, four rebounds, four steals and two assists.
Sophomores and both poured in eight points on the night with Adams racking up four assists as well.
