LAFAYETTE, La. – Troy Softball fell to Louisiana, 7-1, in game two of the series Saturday at Lamson Park.
Much like Friday, after a quiet opening frame, Louisiana (25-10, 11-3 Sun Belt) struck first in the bottom of the second with a solo shot from Alexa Langeliers.
In the bottom of the third, the Ragin Cajuns tacked on another run with an RBI double off the bat of Maddie Hayden. A two-run bottom of the fourth saw Louisiana take a 4-0 advantage.
However, spoiled Kandra Lamb's (7-4) no hitter in the top of the fifth after ripping a one-out single up the middle.
