STATESBORO, Ga. – It wasn't the Trojan's day Saturday as Troy fell to the Georgia Southern Eagles in both games of the doubleheader, 24-1 in game one and 8-4 in game two from J. I. Clements Stadium.
Despite the loss in game one, which ended the Trojan's (29-16, 13-10) five-game win streak, Troy came out in game two and had a 4-1 lead, but seven unanswered runs by the Eagles (31-15. 17-6) was key in getting their second win of the day.
Game One: Caleb Bartolero was responsible for the lone Trojan run in game one after his fifth home run of the season in the top of the seventh.
