NEWARK, New Jersey – The Troy men's basketball team fought until the end, however, a 20-3 run by Seton Hall was too much to overcome in a 78-69 loss at the Prudential Center on Thursday night. The Trojans were led by Jordon Varnado as he earned his fifth career double-double with 25 points and 11 rebounds, narrowly missing career high numbers.
Varnado finished the night 9-of-13 from the floor, including 5-of-6 from downtown. Wesley Person finished the night with 14 points, his 33rd game in double figures, as he shot 4-of-10, in thanks to a 3-of-5 showing from downtown.
