OXFORD, Mississippi – Troy rallied from down 13 in the second half to force overtime at Ole Miss, but the Rebels were able to withstand the Trojans' pressure as they escaped with an 83-80 win on Tuesday in the final game that will be played at Tad Smith Coliseum.
Jeremy Hollimon's second half sparked the Troy (5-6) offense, as he totaled a team-high 22 points, 18 of which came in the second half. He ended the night 9-of-16, including a 3-of-5 showing from long range.
Wesley Person and Jordon Varnado each totaled 17 points apiece, while Varnado reeled in a team-high seven rebounds.
