He’s a tall tale, a quarterback with NBA size, the stuff of fables. Troy head coach Neal Brown said Buffalo quarterback Tyree Jackson is very real – and for real.
The 6-foot-7, 245-pound Tyree is the Offensive Player of the Year in the Mid-American Conference. He has thrown for almost 2,900 yards and 27 touchdowns and rushed for seven more for the prolific Bulls.
“It’s one thing to see him on video, but at the press conference last week in Mobile I was able to see him,” Brown said before the Trojans headed to the Port City to prepare for Saturday night’s Dollar General Bowl at Ladd-Peebles Stadium.
