Troy faces strong offense in New Mexico State

The Las Cruces Sun-News has reported New Mexico State running back Larry Rose III should receive his first action of the season when the Aggies battle the Trojans in Troy at 6 p.m. on Saturday. Rose, who rushed for more than 1,600 yards last season, has been recovering from sports hernia surgery.

Of course, the addition of a third-team All-America to the Aggie lineup presents the Trojans with yet another weapon the Trojans must defend. “ He’s as good as there probably is in the country, and that’s coming from Florida coaches and everybody else,” Troy defensive coordinator Vic Koenning said.
