TROY, Ala. – In wild fashion, a lights out performance by and timely offense allows the Trojans to complete the comeback to down Texas State, 6-4, during Sunday's Senior Day at the Troy Softball Complex.
With the win, Troy (33-12, 16-5 Sun Belt) controls its own second-place destiny heading into the final series of the regular season next weekend.
Texas State (33-10, 14-6 Sun Belt) struck first in the top of the opening frame off four hits and an error. After the third run was plated off an infield single by Cat Crenek, entered in relief of Kysnley Rae Blasingame.
