TROY, Alabama – Troy downs South Alabama to extend its win streak to 12 games and match the program's longest win streak Wednesday night at Jaguar Field.
With their 12-consecutive win, the Trojans (30-13, 12-4 Sun Belt) match the program's longest win streak that was originally set in 1995.
"Once again, I thought we just had some really gritty pitching and defense," head coach Beth Mullins said. "Leanna pitched a great game and picked up our offense that just wasn't its best today."
Troy hopped on the board scoring three runs with hits by Talia Truitt and Bailey Taylor and two Jaguar (12-25, 2-14) errors.
