TROY – One of Troy cornerback Blace Brown’s biggest plays of the 2017 season was his last one.
Brown, a first-team All-Sun Belt performer, made his fifth and final interception of the season in the end zone early in the Arkansas State game on Dec. 2.
He batted a pass high into the air, caught the ball when it came down and was side-swiped by a teammate who was also going for the ball. In the collision Brown suffered a torn ACL in his left knee and missed most of that game and the New Orleans Bowl.
