Brown said that will be the biggest difference between his first set of spring practices and his second set, which begins Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. at the practice fields near Trojan Arena.
Brown conducted his first spring practices a little more than three months after he was hired on Dec. 1, 2014, to replace legendary head coach Larry Blakeney, who retired.
“I know our kids. Last year I didn’t know what our issues would be and what our strengths would be,” Brown said. “I’ve got a good feeling now. I know what we’re capable of.”
The Trojans, just like every program in the nation, will have to replace some key cogs from the 2015 team that went 4-8.
