Troy coach Neal Brown sends championship rings to families of deceased players

Two years following his death, former Gulf Shores standout Nathan Harris still has a big impact on the Troy football program.

Trojans' coach Neal Brown sent Harris' family a 2017 Sun Belt Championship ring last week. Harris died in a motorcycle accident in April of 2016. Brown also sent a ring to the family of Corey McCullers, a Holtville native who died in a car accident in the summer of 2015.

"It was a way to reach out to both families and let them know that Corey's and Nathan's memory live on here in Troy and their impact is still felt," Brown told AL.
