Behind experience, Troy aiming to reach next level
NEW ORLEANS – Troy football, conference championships and bowl games used to be synonymous, but the Trojans have not had a postseason outing since 2010.
Troy head football coach Neal Brown believes that could change this year, he said Monday at Sun Belt Media Day in New Orleans.
“We may be a year away from where we were in 2009 or in 2008. I think we’re ready to take the next step to get to bowl eligibility if you look at the returning starters,” he said.
