TROY, Alabama – Troy could not find a rhythm offensively and surrendered three frustrating goals in a 3-0 loss to Chattanooga at the Troy Soccer Complex on Sunday.
The Trojans (1-3-0) matched the Mocs' seven shots in the game, but were only able to put two on target. Chattanooga (3-1-0), however, took advantage of defensive breakdowns to pull out the three-goal victory.
In the seventh minute, Catherine Meyer saved the ball from going out on the end line to the left of goal and sent an off-balance pass across the six-yard box to Chloe Arnold at the far post, who tapped it in for the opening score.
