TROY, Ala. – Behind 10 strikeouts from Brady Fuller, home runs from William Sullivan and Shane Lewis, and a shutdown bullpen performance, the Trojans stretched their win streak to nine games as they beat USC-Upstate 5-2 Friday night to open the series from Riddle-Pace Field.
The win gives the Trojans their second consecutive season with a winning streak of nine games under Skylar Meade as they add another win to the third-best start in program history.
"It was a true Friday night baseball game," head coach Skylar Meade said.
