The defending Sun Belt Conference champions will bring their fast-paced brand of basketball to the Circle City on Nov. 21 when they play host to NAIA-level Thomas University from nearby Thomasville, Ga. The Troy men’s basketball team will also make their third-annual trip, the school announced Wednesday, when the Trojans play host to Point University from West Point, Ga., on Dec. 14.
Rigby, who has watched several tournament games at the Dothan Civic Center, said Trojans head coach Phil Cunningham recommended playing a game there.
“It’s a good atmosphere. I think he’s gotten what he wanted to get out of it,” Rigby said.
