Troy's Wesley Person averages 16.9 points per game heading into the Trojans' Thursday night contest with Paine College at the Dothan Civic Center.
The Trojans play host to Paine College, a Division II school with a 2-8 record on the season, in its second consecutive year of playing a game in Dothan. The Lions, though, have several players back from a team that went 23-6 last season and finished atop the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference East Division.
“They’re talented. They’ve just had a lot of close games they’ve come out on the wrong end of it,” Cunningham said.
