While the Troy baseball team has not enjoyed success consistently so far in 2017, the Trojans hope to begin a strong late-season push with two wins against Alabama this week.
The Trojans (14-12) play host to the Crimson Tide (13-15) Tuesday at 6 p.m., before making the trip to Tuscaloosa for Wednesday’s game at 6. Troy dropped two of three against Texas-Arlington last weekend but rebounded with a huge late rally to take the final game 13-5 on Saturday.
Trojans head coach Mark Smartt wants his squad to repeat that effort as the second half of the regular season begins.
