SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Troy baseball team is set to face host, Texas State for its opening round matchup set to begin on Wednesday at 4 p.m. at Bobcat Ballpark.

Troy (32-24, 17-13 Sun Belt) is fresh off a series win over rival South Alabama. After falling in the first game, 8-3, the Trojans bounced back to win games two and three by a combined score of 12-2 and held South Alabama to its fewest runs scored this season.
