TROY, Ala. – Coming off a third-place finish in the east division during the 2021 Sun Belt Regular season, Troy baseball was picked to finish in sixth in the 2022 Sun Belt Preseason Coaches Poll, the league announced on Wednesday.
The 2021 Trojans finished with a 13-11 record in league play, winning 11 of its final 16 games overall to end the regular season. They finished the year by winning nine of the last 12 Sun Belt games, including sweeps Appalachian State and Coastal Carolina.
Troy sees 21 players return under new head coach Skylar Meade, nine new transfers, and six true freshmen on this year's roster.
