TROY, Alabama – Troy's mid-October game against Georgia State has been selected as the 2016 Homecoming contest, Troy Athletics Director Jeremy McClain announced Friday.
Homecoming is officially set for Oct. 15 as Georgia State will make its second visit to Veterans Memorial Stadium since joining the Sun Belt Conference. Full Homecoming details will be announced as plans are finalized.
Following the home opener against Austin Peay on Sept. 3, the Sound of the South's annual Band Day will take place on Sept. 24 when Troy plays host to New Mexico State, while Troy's contest against UMass on Nov.
