Troy and Southern Miss Sign Four-Year Football Contract

Current & Future Schedules

TROY, Alabama – Troy and Southern Miss have agreed to a new four-year football deal for their regional rivalry that will see two games played in Troy and two in Hattiesburg over the next 11 years, both schools announced Tuesday morning.

Prior to the home-and-home series the schools are currently playing, Troy and Southern Miss met just once since 1977 when they played in the 2008 New Orleans Bowl. The Trojans defeated the Golden Eagles, 37-31, in Hattiesburg back in 2016 to kickstart a seven-game winning streak that landed the Trojans in the AP Top 25.
