LAFAYETTE, La. – The Trojans will have to wait an extra day to try and get the series win over Louisiana as rain and thunderstorms in the forecast have moved Saturday's contest. Troy and Louisiana will now play a doubleheader on Sunday, April 16, beginning at 12 p.m. Because of the move, both games will be broadcast on ESPN+.
Troy opened the series with a 9-6 win behind 10 strikeouts from Brady Fuller. It was the fourth straight win over Louisiana as Troy moves to 7-6 in Sun Belt Conference play.
Grayson Stewart who was scheduled to pitch in game two against the Ragin' Cajuns will now look to make his ninth start of the season on Sunday.
