TROY, Ala. – Troy has filled the lone open weekend on its 2021 schedule with a series at Florida State, head coach Mark Smartt announced Tuesday. The series, which will see the Trojans visit Tallahassee from April 30-May 2, replaces a midweek contest between the schools originally scheduled for March 10.
"The opportunity to play Florida State presented itself with all the COVID-19 related scheduling issues that emerged once decisions about the 2021 season were made around the country," Smartt said. "This series upgrades our schedule and provides our team a great opportunity to compete against one of the best baseball programs in America.
