Troy, Ala. – Nicholas Stampley has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Troy men's basketball team as announced by first-year head coach Scott Cross on Friday afternoon.
Stampley, a native of Pompano Beach, Fla., comes from Eastern Florida State College where he averaged 10.1 points and 7.0 rebounds this past season, helping the Titans to a 28-8 overall record.
Throughout the season Stampley scored 10 or more points in 20 games out of 35 played including dropping a season-high 24 points on 10-of-13 from the field, a perfect 4-of-4 from behind the arc with five rebounds, a pair of assists, two steals and a block against Salt Lake Community College.
