TROY, Alabama – Troy football head coach Neal Brown announced Thursday the addition of Elba High School quarterback Ramsey Rigby to the program. Rigby, the son of Troy women's basketball head coach Chanda Rigby, was recently named to the Alabama Sports Writers Association 2A All-State First Team.
"At the end of the day, Ramsey Rigby is a winner and he competes really hard," Brown said. "He is a coaches' kid – not only his mother here, but his dad is his high school coach. Ramsey is fresh off a state championship and is going to bring a lot of toughness with him.
