MOBILE — A change in venue didn’t slow down Troy’s Early Signing Day as the Trojans inked 16 players Wednesday in what ranks as the best signing class in school history.
Troy coaches and staff operated Signing Day from their team hotel in Mobile in advance of Saturday’s Dollar General Bowl.
“We signed 16 really big-time additions to our program today,” Troy coach Neal Brown said. “A lot of credit to our recruiting staff led by Brian Bennett and to our assistant coaches for their work on this class. We ID’d our needs in this class early on in the process and did a good job of getting these guys on campus multiple times.
