TROY, Alabama – The Trojans started the season hitting on all cylinders as Troy shot 46.8 percent from the field en route to a 93-62 win in an exhibition game against AUM Thursday night.
Picking up right where he left off last season was Wesley Person. The guard got the first six points of the game for Troy with back-to-back 3-pointers.
The junior shot 5-of-7 from the floor and 4-of-5 from the 3-point line to lead the team with 18 points on the night and was a perfect 4-of-4 from the free-throw line.
Helping Person in his efforts was senior DeVon Walker.
