Trojans Topple Mountaineers In Three Sets

BOONE, N.C. – The Trojans secured their fifth sweep of the season in a match that only lasted an hour and 10 minutes as they defeated Appalachian State from Boone, North Carolina, Sunday afternoon in three straight sets (25-17, 25-16, 25-17).

Troy (10-7, 3-3) was led by , who led all players with 15 kills, hitting .458 for the match with two aces, four digs, and three blocks. The Trojans nearly doubled the Mountaineers in the kill category finishing with 41 compared to Appalachians State's 20. recorded 34 assists, and had 11 digs as both led the match.
