MOBILE, Ala. – The Troy women's tennis team opened its Sun Belt schedule on Saturday afternoon with a 7-0 loss to in-state rival South Alabama at the Bruce David Lubel Memorial Tennis Courts.
The Trojans (7-3, 0-1 SBC) open their conference schedule with a loss for the third season in a row, while the Jaguars (11-1, 1-0 SBC) continue to improve with the best start in the conference.
Down 1-0 in doubles after Olivia Elliott / Andrea Widing dropped their match, Kristina Kukaras / Hagar Amin battled back to tie the Trojans up with a 6-4 win.
