TROY, Ala. – Troy improved to 3-0 on the year and secured a series victory over Northern Kentucky after defeating the Norse 17-3 and 12-2 in a doubleheader Saturday at Riddle-Pace Field. The Trojans now rank fourth in Division I in runs per game, averaging 15.7 through the first two days of the season.
Caleb Bartolero hit a grand slam and registered a career-high six RBIs as Troy cruised to a victory in the first game of the day while Taylor Pridgen hit his first career home run in game two, a 371 ft.
