MOBILE, Alabama. – The Troy men's cross country team continued the hot start to the season with three head-to-head victories at the Azalea City Classic on Friday.

"Our men did some things we haven't done since I've been at Troy," head coach Elliott Blount said. "We put together two solid performances in consecutive showings as a team. The purpose of this meet was to sharpen up our race tactics and we did just that."

The Trojans, running in the 8k, beat Alabama State 15 to 50, Southeast Louisiana 15 to 48 and a narrow 28 to 29 victory over South Alabama.
