TROY, Ala. – Troy Baseball used home runs from , , and to power its way past Louisiana 7-1 in the Sun Belt opener Friday night, and won their sixth straight game from Riddle-Pace field.
"Tonight we had a good approach," head coach said. "We took our best swings in the zone, and our guys produced great at bats. I was happy with the way we saw the ball tonight and the outcome reflects our hard work."
Troy (12-5) saw another quality start from sophomore (3-1) after he went six innings, allowing one run on five hits and no walks while striking out six.
