TROY, Alabama – The Troy softball team is back in action this weekend as it hosts the Troy Classic at the Troy Softball Complex. The Trojans begin play on Friday with a doubleheader against Ole Miss at 2:30 p.m. and Eastern Illinois at 5 p.m.
Troy plays another doubleheader on Saturday facing Tennessee Tech at 2:30 and McNeese State at 5 p.m. before wrapping up the tournament against Tennessee Tech at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Troy (4-1) enters the Troy Classic coming off a big weekend at the Trojan Invite last weekend. The Trojans won four of their five games during the season-opening tournament with the only loss coming in extra innings.
