TROY, Ala. -- The Troy Trojans women's soccer program opens the 2019 Sun Belt Conference Tournament Wednesday afternoon at 1 p.m. against Louisiana.
Wednesday's matchup at the Foley Sports Complex will be the second consecutive matchup between the two teams. The second-seeded Trojans (12-2-4, 7-1-2 Sun Belt) and seventh-seeded Ragin' Cajuns (8-7-3, 4-4-2) met 10 days ago in Lafayette, with Troy earning a hard fought 2-1 overtime victory.
After falling behind 1-0 on a penalty kick in the 54th minute, the Trojans found the equalizer with just 109 seconds remaining in the match when Taytum Terrell buried a loose ball in the box.
